“Yesterday we featured the 3 winners from the International Society Of Scratchboard Artists 2020 online exhibition. The winner of the Active category was an Ampersand Artist Ambassador, Scratchbord artist Debra Kauffman Yaun – Art. The model from Debra’s artwork “Proud of her Heritage” celebrates her culture in traditional dress in this award-winning scratchboard.

A fascinating detail is that the model shown in this artwork is also a nurse working hard to save COVID-19 patients. We want to extend our gratitude to her and all frontline heroes during this time.”
